OpenBreath is a training aid for respiratory exercise. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent or monitor any disease or medical condition. The figures it shows come from a consumer training device and should not be treated as clinical measurements.
Breath-holding and maximal breathing exercises carry real risk, including fainting. Never practise them in or near water without trained supervision. If you have any respiratory, cardiac or neurological condition, or you are pregnant, speak to a doctor before using exercises of this kind. Stop if you feel unwell.
OpenBreath is an independent app. It communicates with BreaThru Max hardware but is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by its manufacturer, and no trademark of theirs is claimed. Device names are used only to say what the app is compatible with.
Measurements are stored on your own device. Keeping a copy is up to you: the app provides an export to a file, and an optional backup to your own Google Drive. Data can be lost if you uninstall the app, reset the phone, or lose the device, and it cannot be recovered from us because we never hold it.
The app is provided free of charge, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. It may contain defects, and a Bluetooth device may fail to connect or fail to report a measurement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the author is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the app, including lost training data.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under mandatory consumer law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
Use the app for your own respiratory training. Do not use it in any way that breaks the law, and do not attempt to use it to access other people's Google accounts or data.
These terms may change; the date above changes with them. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the law of Spain, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available where you live.
